Are you a mum looking for a project you can fit around childcare? Do you have a heart for women's issues but feel you wouldn't be able to do much? You can! Why not lobby your local mums and toddlers group or ante natal class and see how you can be a part of giving children in Congo the best possible start in life... Midwives
Are you a midwife or health professional? We need you! VALUED is always looking for medical equipment and resources, particularly in areas of foetal monitoring and reducing risk of infection. Contact us for more information about how your organisation can partner with us in giving women in developing countries the care they deserve.
Men! It’s for you too!
You don't have to be female to support VALUED; it is so important to have men championing this cause and speaking up against the horrific treatment of women. Why not fundraise and or become a regular giver to VALUED? Your contribution will mean that we will be able to further our work. As well as working with women, we support another great local initiative 'Sons of Congo' who work with rehabilitation of the Congolese army, changing the mindset of rape as a weapon of war.
